At University Studies at West Suffolk College (USWSC), we are committed to learners. With this focus in mind, we are proud to work with one of the UK’s leading universities - the University of East Anglia to provide our degrees locally in Bury St Edmunds, which allows us to try keep our fees lower than most other providers.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer a close-knit learning environment with smaller class sizes, giving you more one-to-one support from your lecturers. Realising that many learners may require additional support, we developed an outstanding support system available to each student at USWSC.
We are pleased to announce our Extended Reality Lab (XR Lab) combining Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality technologies and environments. This government funded, purpose-built educational technological centre of excellence will help students to access next-generation extended and virtual reality (XR) technology and be at the forefront of driving innovation across our courses in close collaboration with industry partners – creating new opportunities for all our students.
The XR Lab will allow University Studies to run a ‘Hub and Spoke’ teaching and learning approach, taking the virtual classroom to a whole new level. While studying close to home, students in remote locations will be able to become fully immersed in the classroom environment alongside their colleagues and teachers.
